On Friday, 5th of March at 12 am, in City press room (Town hall) press conference on starting new cultural-media projects of Open University Subotica will take place.

On Sunday 28th of February, at  6pm in "Eurocinema", as a part of the „Subotca authors“ cycle, film FIRST DAY OF WORK directed by Stipan Milodanović will be shown.

Entrance is free.

Starting with February 28th to March 3rd 2010 in the Eurocinema (amphitheatre of the Open University) at 8pm, a film NORDWAND – directed by Philipp Stölzl, the awardee of the 2009 German Film Academy for Best Cinematography, will be showing.

The entrance to all film screenings is 150,00 dinars

On Saturday February 27th 2010 at 8pm in the Eurocinema cinema theatre (amphitheatre of the Open University) a film entitled the GHOST WRITER, directed by Roman Polanski, this year’s awardee of the Berlinale – Silver Bear for Best Director award, will be shown.
 

Entrance is 150,oo dinars.

From February 27th , Subotica will have another regular cinema theatre in the amphitheatre of the Open University. The cinema theatre named Eurocinema will mainly screen films from the European production as part of its programme, those awarded at he prestigious festivals, and it will cherish the tradition of authorial films with the objective to improve the preservation of contemporary culture in the City of Subotica, as well.
